Tamworth Tribute Festival 2025 – What a Night!
Walking out on stage at Tamworth was brilliant. Complete Madness had just finished before us, and the crowd were already buzzing. The stage looked great, the fireworks and pyros were going off, and I had the best view of the night. I always say prior set-mixes are a bit scary — you don’t want to get blown up or burnt — but everything ran smoothly. For once, I didn’t have to cut the set short. It was managed really well, and the audience were reactive and ready to go.
It can take a few songs to settle in, but not this time. The crowd were in fine voice from the very first number, singing back at us straight away. That’s when you know it’s going to be a good night — when you almost forget what you’re doing and just get lost in it.
The Tamworth audience were awesome. We’re only ever as good as the crowd, and they had us truly buzzing afterwards for a long time. And it’s always a good night when you come home with a bra thrown at you — I’ve got a little collection now!
Backstage, the vibe was just as good. Sam and the team did a fantastic job. It was their first festival in Tamworth, but you’d never know it. Everything was brilliantly organised, the load-in was smooth, and the whole thing was made easy for us. They even kept bringing us beer, which never hurts.
One of my personal highlights was Bohemian Rhapsody. I barely needed to sing it — the crowd completely overpowered me, and I just slipped into backing vocals. That’s what it’s all about, sharing those moments with everyone out there. And honestly, the whole show was an emotional rollercoaster, as it always is for me.
It was also brilliant sharing the bill with so many other top acts: The Take That Experience, The ABBA Reunion Tribute Show, Forever Tina, Cher by Elly, Vogue Madonna, and The Killerz. Festivals like this are all about celebrating music together, and Tamworth really nailed it.
We’re chuffed to bits to already be booked back in for Tamworth Tribute Festival 2026. When you get asked straight away, it means everyone had a good time on both sides of the stage. So get your tickets now — it’s going to be a hum-ding-a-dinger of a show. We’re really looking forward to it.
Thank you, Tamworth. You were awesome. See you next year.
Until next time, keep rocking!
